The Opportunity:


As the Sephora Collection Activation Manager, in North America, you are responsible for overseeing a compelling brand marketing strategy for Sephora Collection throughout the North American region (Sephora USA, Sephora Canada, and Sephora at Kohls). Under the leadership of the Sephora Collection Account Director, North America, you will work to bring the Sephora Collection brand, category, and product stories to life for the client through every touchpoint. You’ll collaborate with the Sephora Collection global team in Paris, the North America Sephora Marketing teams, and the Sephora Collection North American brand team. In addition, you will:


  • Build strategic marketing plans to drive the Sephora Collection business with the various retail partners (US, Canada, Kohls) to maximize global priorities
  • Create customized brand activation plans to support all product launches (Makeup, Skincare, Haircare, and Accessories)
  • Collaborate with the global team and retailer partners to maximize traffic to each channel, and exposure in each channel aligned with the NA Brand Team
  • Support the development, execution, and evaluation of the marketing strategy and plans within each retail channel for all marketing touchpoints (in-store, digital, social, influencer, etc)
  • Work cross-functionally with creative, campaigns, social, influencer, and brand marketing teams to develop relevant marketing strategies and components for 360 plans
  • Customize and strategically adapt based on retailer and market-specific needs
  • Partner to ensure global priorities receive North American marketing focus based on business objectives and KPIs
  • Act as guardian of the brand’s style, tone, and messaging, aligning to global brand standards
  • Manage the sampling program including internal placements and external sampling programs in partnership with Sephora retailer marketing and sampling strategy teams.
  • Provide guidance, input, feedback, and sometimes pushback on North American asset needs to the Global SVP of Marketing and VP of Retail Marketing
  • Create, update, and publish a scorecard capturing successes, learnings, and opportunities of assets and content provided by the global team
  • Manage annual North America promotion calendar to help drive sales and recruit new Sephora Collection clients
  • Collaborate on the strategy for optimization of core assets for dotcom
  • Support ratings and reviews for priority products, partnering with external agencies
  • Build and manage multi-million-dollar marketing budget transfer
  • Capture and communicate all product comp needs
  • Provide bi-weekly updates to key business partners
  • Stay current on the market, competition, and trends within North America including analyzing current marketing tactics, concepts, and best practices
  • Collaborate on large-scale events, as needed
  • Oversee multiple external agency partnerships


We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of brand marketing or related experience across multiple aspects of Marketing
  • Strong interpersonal communication, analytical, organizational, Time management skill, presentation skills s & computer skills
  • Ability to analyze the business, identifying trends and opportunities
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt strategies to the North American market
  • Plans and aligns to break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions to achieve KPIs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on PowerPoint
  • Position requires scheduling flexibility and availability to meet with global partners in the early AM hours, as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Domestic and International travel required (up to 20%)


The target annual base salary range for this position is $118,000.00 - $131,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
