SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides basic, non-machinery related maintenance support within a manufacturing environment.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Maintain a “safety first” attitude at all times. Maintain safe working habits by following established OSHA and company safety practices and policies (IE: LOTO, GMP, ARC Flash, Proper PPE practices, Housekeeping).
- Maintain facility’s landscaping.
- Perform cleaning duties, including mopping, and cleaning up of spills.
- Inspection of pump house.
- Changes light bulbs.
- Changing out air filter.
- Hangs bulletin boards and other similar items.
- Assists with minor carpentry, plumbing and painting.
- Loads salt in water softeners.
- Maintains sidewalks during wintertime.
- Inspects fire extinguishers and exit lights.
- Perform and/or assist with weekly/monthly/annual EHS inspections.
- Maintains a neat and organized work area.

- Education and/or experience equivalent to a High School diploma or general education degree (GED); with a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Communicate regularly with co-workers in all positions to maintain a high level of customer service and respect plant wide.
- Participate in teams to drive change regarding safety, quality, production, continuous improvement, and employee relations.
- Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor.
