Position Description:
The Supply Chain Business Analyst develops new tools and processes to support BW Packaging System supply chain goals and objectives. Develops business models (and enabling systems) across the integrated supply chain to achieve transformational improvements within business processes such as demand planning, capacity management inventory management, and logistics. Requires an exceptional level of strategic thinking, change initiation, and long-term corporate perspective,” as well as, “serving as a thought leader, implements project plan, proposing business tools, and making decisions with a high degree of complexity. Works with leadership team to develop supply chain disciplines and best practices including processes and procedures. Responsibilities include the identification of problems through analysis, proposing sustainable solutions, and implementing key supply chain improvement projects. Areas of concentration include Planning, Procurement, supply chain metrics, and inventory management strategy and execution.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Drive identification of requirements across businesses, identify substandard Supply chain systems, processes through evaluation of real-time data, and implement enabling solutions.
- Serve as thought leader for Supply Chain technical business processes, develop forward-thinking systems that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
- Create and implement project management plans for each project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
- Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
- Develop and maintain performance management scorecards, including metrics definition, target setting, and results measurement to understand operational business performance
- Determine and develop user requirements for ERP systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
- Propose, implement, and support multi-site or high-level business tools and process enhancements (continuous process improvement). Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling
- Proficient at analyzing, and documenting processes using standards and methodologies. Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents
- Stay current on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems as it relates to BWPS’s supply chain processes
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports enabling better decisions.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to team members.
- Serve as a liaison between functional users and IT.
- Identifies unexpressed customer needs and potential products/ services to meet those needs.
- Acts as a change agent by helping others understand the need for change.
- Ensures that deliverables contribute to the organization’s value and competitive advantage.

Required Education and Experience:
- Requires Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA a plus.
- Strong experience with ERP systems, including implementation
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in operations or supply chain environment.
- Requires Strong MPS/MRP and Supply Chain knowledge
- CPIM or CSCP certification desired
Travel:
Occasional domestic and/or global travel may be required for this position.
