Position Expectations:

As an area director of business development, you will direct our referral partners and potential clients to better understand the full potential of PHH’s PDN services. The area director of business development will act as liaison between the client, PHH, and referral sources, such as the hospitals, clinics, and the overall medical community. They will assist in development and promotion of PHH services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care. They will be responsible to grow PHH’s client base by developing relationships with each office team and recruiting partner while providing the entire team with pertinent client details. They will be responsible to provide coaching, development, and hold accountable any business development associates and/or business development directors reporting directly to them. The area director of business development’s dedication to the needs of our clients will encourage client loyalty and enhance our organization’s growth through positive engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business development, communications, or healthcare sales.
  • Previous home healthcare or private duty sales experience preferred.
  • Previous home health or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel locally and work a flexible schedule.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a passion for assisting medically fragile children.
  • Possess the ability to establish relationships, be self-motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and ensure compliance with local state and federal law.

Expectations:

  • Build relationships with referral partners including but not limited to case managers, referral coordinator, discharge planners, social workers, clinical managers, physicians, and networking partners.
  • Act as liaison between hospitals, physicians, PHH offices, and the clinical team to ensure quality care as patients discharge from the hospital.
  • Work with the business development team to develop a plan for your territory to meet and exceed quarterly goals.
  • Lead and participate in marketing and community events.

System Skills:

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Medical:

  • Medical requirements vary per market location. Such as, Covid Vaccines, Boosters, Flu Vaccines, TB test, Background check and Drug testing as required, etc.
