Cage Cashier Job at Chinook Winds
Position Summary
Responsible for the cash processing needs for Chinook Winds Gaming, following strict procedures to ensure Chinook Winds assets are protected.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for maintaining assigned bank funds while protecting company assets.
- Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort strict policies and procedures.
- Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards.
- Notify Supervisor of Customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs and services.
- Cashes jackpot tickets
- Cuts and counts Casino Chips for redemption.
- Performs money transactions for checks, cash advances on a credit card and point redemption vouchers.
- Complies with rules and regulation pertaining to Title 31 of the Bank Secrecy Act through Resort Advantage.
- Participates in Slot Drop as a runner.
- Researched and resolves balancing discrepancies.
- Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services.
- Completes all required paperwork as it applies to job function.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education
High school diploma or GED
Experience
Two years cash handling experience preferred
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office beginner level including Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Excel
10-key experience
Certificates & Licenses
Siletz Tribal Gaming License
Must be able to pass the Title 31 testing
Other Requirements
Must have outstanding people skills
