Abilene, Texas
SCOPE/CONTACTS: Responsible for communications into and within the bank by use of the telephone switchboard. Primary focus is to respond quickly and courteously to all incoming calls and to route these calls to the proper parties or departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Answer phone lines for all branch locations and accurately direct outside and internal calls appropriately. Calls must be answered within 3 rings.
  • Maintain calm, empathetic, and courteous demeanor when interacting with varied personalities.
  • Daily collection, sorting, and distribution incoming and outgoing mail pertaining to the contact center.
  • Assist in maintaining updated facility information and notifications with regards to internal extension and employee changes, facility closures, and customer reported issues.
  • Understand and support the vision and mission of First Financial Bank. Actively participate in and abide by the banks non-negotiable values and Customer Service Excellence philosophy
  • Follow established bank policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Six months experience with a telephone having multiple phone lines is required.
  • Experience in a high volume inbound call environment such as a call center preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
  • Excellent communication skills and general business knowledge is a must.
