You will be caring for our residents, who are in various stages of dementia. If you love helping people, being a caregiver is very satisfying and rewarding. The ideal candidates will be patient, compassionate and have excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help our clients.

• Overnights

Part-Time:

• Part-Time Day's (Weekends) Saturday & Sunday
• Part-Time Overnight
• Part-Time Cook/Caregiver (Pm's)
• Part-Time Activities/Caregiver (Pm's)

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
