Cashier & Carry-out Associates Job at ROLLING RIDGE NURSERY

We’re looking for hardworking, reliable, and friendly individuals to fill positions in our indoor and outdoor departments! Relevant experience is preferred, but not required. Opportunity for growth available for the right individual.
Cashier Primary Duties include:
- Great customer service
- Operating POS to facilitate customer transactions
- Working on your feet in an unairconditioned environment with concrete floors
- Maintaining, and cleaning of Garden Center products
- Maintaining and cleaning of checkout area, Garden Center, and pottery
- Properly entering Garden Fanatic customer information into POS system
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and monitoring info email
- Take direction on specified tasks while staying busy in-between tasks
- Able to work on a team
- Cleaning duties as needed
Carry-Out Primary Duties include:
- Great customer service
- Unloading delivery trucks
- Loading customer vehicles with bagged material from loading dock
- Carrying-out customer purchases from cash registers to customer vehicles
- Helping load customer vehicles with plant material from tree lot
- Working on your feet and outside in all weather conditions
- Maintaining and cleaning loading dock, warehouse, and storage areas
- Trash/Recycling runs from warehouse to dumpster
- Take direction on specified tasks while staying busy in-between tasks
- Able to work on a team
- Cleaning duties as needed
ALL Applicants must have weekend availability.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
