Certified Wound Care Nurse Job at Fairview Nursing Care Center
A beautiful, skilled nursing home and rehabilitation center is currently seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse to work at a long-term care facility located in Queens, NY. The ideal Wound Care Nurse candidate will have previous experience working as a Wound Care Nurse for a skilled nursing facility and is Wound Certified.
Responsibilities:
- Care for all open wounds - including changing, cleaning, and dressing.
- Complete all required admission paperwork and document all residents' care.
- Provide support and advice to both residents and their families.
- Monitor resident's wounds and administer medication or treatment as needed.
- Adhere to all infection-control policies to promote the safety of both residents and employees.
- Ensure quality care by adhering to the facility's outlined standards and protocols of care.
- Adhering to all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
