Factor is a consulting company that builds the informational foundations for DX by designing the models, governance, organizational alignment, and roadmaps necessary to build DX capabilities. Our Founders have built a very high-quality consulting company thus far, including loyal Fortune 50-500 customers and a team of 18 team members. Factor provides the foundations for information-intensive enterprise capabilities like Customer 360, Sales Enablement, Enterprise Analytics, or enterprise knowledge management.

Our Founders are technical subject matter experts and want to continue down this strategic path. The Founders want to spend their time executing on critical information architecture projects for premier customers and are looking for a C-level partner to 1)help build and expand the company’s revenues and customer base, and 2)set up the company with systems, process, and programs to scale, while at the same time maintaining a very high level service delivery quality bar. This position will be located in Seattle, Washington but mostly remote for now.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational leadership – Represent the organization with customers, prospects, partners, vendors, and employees and develop and communicate an overall company growth strategy with key metrics. These activities should focus on maintaining excellence with both internal processes supporting our employees and external processes supporting our customers throughout the desired growth of the next 2 - 5 years.
  • Customer Expansion and Revenue Growth – Lead the identification, marketing, and sales process to win 4-6 new projects per year in the digital transformation space to Fortune 50-500 size companies. Overall build a world class sales function within the company representative of the very high quality of our services. Partner with the Founders with their subject matter expertise to amplify their voice in the market and get them in front of key stakeholders and decision-makers. Become a brand evangelist with the Factor value proposition and be able to pitch us to all key stakeholders
  • Culture Advocate – Communicate regularly to grow our company in support of our values, ensuring that all new programs are in line with our culture
  • Financial integrity with M&A – Ensure the financial health of the organization by maintaining adequate cash reserves, paying the team and our consultants timely, ensuring the end of year tax forms are provided to consultants; confer with the organizational CFO for tax services and guidance. Ensure the company is set up for a successful exit with regard to standard and important governance, systems, and process.

Qualifications

  • 8+ Years of experience as a Principal level consultant in a high-growth, high-quality service delivery firm. C-level execution and delivery experience would be a major plus.
  • 5+ Years of experience growing top-line revenues for a consulting firm or practice.
  • Direct experience working on or leading enterprise initiatives for fortune 500 companies or equivalent. Experience in digital transformation or information architecture is a major plus.
  • Experience with and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion - not just say it, mean it.
  • Facilitative and collaborative leadership style in line with our values.
  • A library science or liberal arts educational background is a plus. Prefer an MBA graduate.

Compensation

The compensation for this role will be targeted at a $300,000 salary plus incentives tied to overall revenue growth. This role includes benefits and equity.
