Since our founding in 2016, we’ve experienced a wonderful period of organic growth delighting customers and through acquisitions. The CHRO is our first Executive role in the People team and we are excited to bring on this important hire. Our ideal candidate resides or is willing to relocate to Chicago, Illinois for a hybrid work schedule. We are looking for an experienced executive in all areas of a robust and strong people function. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business leadership role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental and intercompany teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the overall vision and strategy with the CEO and leadership team, particularly from the perspective of the impact on E78 Partners’s people needs and development
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Leadership Team to develop and implement progressive people programs that drive engagement and development, as well as diversity and inclusion, and are aligned with E78 Partners’s values
  • Able to influence all levels of E78 Partners stakeholders, employees, clients, executives and board members through data-driven decision making and bringing others along the right decision journey
  • Serve as member of the E78 Partners Leadership Team and as a champion for the balance of growth, profitability, people and culture
  • Proven ability to analyze and diagnose business and people performance, organizational climate and culture and use data to create insights that drive higher thinking and better business outcomes
  • Shape the organization for the future, establishing hard and soft organizational structures, in a matrixed, multi-business unit environment
  • Supercharge our ability to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry
  • Work with the organization to develop, refine, reinforce, and embody E78 Partners’s culture and values
  • Oversee all People Team functions, including Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Analytics & Reporting, D&I, OD/Change/Culture, L&D, Employee Relations, Business Advisory, and the E78 Partners Foundation
  • Oversee People tools, establishing new processes, technologies, and workflows that scale with and enable the business
  • Build the capabilities of the People team, motivate, and inspire them, and ensure they have the support to take the function to the next level in supporting E78 Partners’s growth

Required Skills:

  • Deep technical HR expertise and experience overseeing the full HR suite including Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Analytics & Reporting, D&I, OD/Change/Culture, L&D, Employee Relations, Business Advisory, and the E78 Partners Platform
  • Demonstrated success creating systems and programs that consistently develop management and leadership capability, and provide high confidence succession talent to fuel growth
  • Demonstrated experience successfully helping to lead a business through significant change, growth, and transformation
  • Experience with org design in a matrixed and multi-business unit environments
  • Practical exposure to planning and driving organizational transformation as it relates to operational efficiencies, people capabilities, and culture change
  • Reputation for driving HR best-practice in mid-sized, fast-growing organizations · Track record of leading from the front, driving accountability across the HR function; and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Experience working in creative industries and working with singular talents · Experience using data to improve, automate, and streamline HR practices and decision-making · Experience with international expansion across multiple geographies
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred


Compensation:
A base of $250,000 to $300,000 per annum, plus bonus, benefits and equity
