This role is based in Vancouver, WA with occasional travel including travel to Inglewood, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Build and develop our IT strategy and lead an agile, internal customer-focused organization focused on partnership and business needs
• Develop and deliver on a comprehensive, scalable, resource-efficient strategy to support organizational goals
• Participate in long-term strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals and prioritize development initiatives
• Instill an engineering culture focused on delivering and maximizing impact through technology-based solutions
• Provide the vision for the technology platform, drive the development of the technology roadmap, evaluate new and promising technologies in the IT and dental space
• Lead Applications, Infrastructure, Help Desk and Data teams. Evolve our systems and processes in all four areas
• Oversee the IT Support Teams that provide day-to-day operational services encompassing performance, systems availability, reporting and analytics, as well as capacity planning.
• Establish KPIs and objective performance metrics for managing IT effectiveness and for measuring the impact of IT; establish appropriate service levels and process to ensure that KPIs are met
• This unit provides 24×7 support for the configuration, availability, and deployment of IT assets across the enterprise, including but not limited to:
  • LAN & Desktop systems
  • Analytical tools
  • Salesforce platform
  • Back-office systems
• Review, establish, and maintain IT policies, “best practices,” and processes and procedures that are implemented across the enterprise business units
• Responsible for implementation of consistent data security, access privileges, integrity and privacy standards, and compliance across the enterprise. Direct and evaluate security audits and risk assessments for each business unit’s use of technology
• Responsible for preparing and managing to the enterprise-wide IT budget; ensuring that expenditures align with the technology roadmap and business plan
• Manage and oversee a Data Intelligence and Data Analytics team
• Direct and organize all IT-related projects
• Responsible for all things technology

Requirements:

• Proven experience as IT Senior Executive or similar Executive role leading a full IT department
• Prior Private Equity experience is preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to IT governance, especially with prioritization and project planning
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive approaches to cyber security, regulatory compliance, and risk management
• Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
• A hands-on leader who is willing to deep dive when required to achieve success
• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• A strong strategic and business mindset
