$90,000 - $110,000 Annually, Salary commensurate with training and experience

Duties Summary

Exempt, Non-Civil Service, Full-Time, Temporary Appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to implement and lead the one and half year, federally funded grant project focused on the implementation of evidence-based interventions to inform how data-driven decision making is embedded into practice. This position is responsible for program leadership, program development, and implementation, and managing the day-to-day operations of this Project including leading evaluation efforts in strategic planning and needs assessments, and Project budget, etc. It serves as the primary communication link between Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) officials and Hawaii program staff and preparing reports for SAMHSA.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor's degree in a mental health related field. Masters' degree in a mental health or social-service field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience managing a program for a minimum of four (4) years, preferably focused on children and/or adults' mental health. Previous work experience with youth in the mental health, juvenile justice, and/or the child welfare system, and/or managerial level experience within a Hawaii state agency or healthcare organization, preferred. Demonstrated success in managing program budgets. Experience managing federal grant programs a plus.

LICENSE: A Valid Hawaii Driver’s License is Preferred.
