Are you energetic, hardworking educator looking for a rewarding career in helping to shape the minds of children? We are currently seeking a Full Time Teacher in our Infant classrooms to help foster the learning of the whole child! Individuals should possess experience with children ages Infant – 5 years old.

Infant Teacher will engage and care for children in developmentally age appropriate experiences and activities in a fun, safe, learning environment while establishing respectful and warm relationships with the children, families and staff.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the well-being of the children in your care.
  • Complete necessary records. Create and maintain a portfolio for each child in your care group to be shared during conferences with families.
  • Establish positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Maintain frequent communications with families through documentation on daily sheets, informal discussions, communication app, and conferences.
  • Follow all center policies, state regulations and national accreditation standards.
  • Complete 20 hours of professional development each year (through webinars, conferences, etc.)
  • Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for children's individual needs.

Requirements

  • Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
  • CDA, Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field highly preferred or be willing to attend school to further education. Bachelor's in Elementary Education with Early Childhood credits preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health/drug screening.

Operational Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 5:30 pm; Shift will be 8.5 hours with a 30-minute lunch break. Shift hours will start out 9:00 - 5:30.

No evenings or weekends; 9 paid holidays per year for full time employees; Upon employment, begin to accrue sick time available to use once earned; Vacation days available after one year of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Common surfaces are cleaned and sanitized daily. The entire building is sanitized completed each weekend and more often when needed.
