JOB TITLE:

Commercial Driver

SALARY:

$16.16-$25.55 per hour, dependent upon experience

FLSA CLASSIFICATION:

Non-exempt, Hourly

JOB SUMMARY:

Commercial Driver is responsible for, but not limited to, delivering and safely loading and unloading vehicles. Transfer product and stage product. Safely and consistently handle and deliver liquid products. Performs daily vehicle inspections, and cleans and maintains equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all company policies and safety procedures
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Adheres strictly to safety and security standards and procedures
• Load and unload truck/trailers with product
• Operate company owned equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Transport product to and from various customer locations
• Provide excellent customer service for internal and external customers
• Interface effectively with other warehouse departments
• Work closely with the sales staff and dispatcher(s) for coordination of deliveries
• Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment and vehicles safely
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid CDL with Tanker/Hazmat Endorsement, air brakes, doubles and triples
• Knowledge of DOT driving requirements
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work overtime and/or weekends, as needed
• Good oral communication
• Ability to follow direction
• Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of warehouse/industry experience
• Previous commercial driving experience, preferred
• Sitting for long periods of time
• Twisting, bending, stooping, pushing, grasping, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs
