Senior Helpers Havertown is looking for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with office and client management experience to join our team.

The Client Care Associate will support the Care Management team with various tasks such as home assessments, caregiver training, quality assurance and administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to all our clients and staff.
  • Backup support to all care managers for client calls, issues and concerns.
  • Complete assessments/reassessments, care plans, contracts, and any additional documentation.
  • Provide training to caregiver staff on care techniques, community and company expectations.
  • Provide education to potential and active clients and their families about the services Senior Helpers provides.
  • Phone support.
  • Complete supervisory visits for clients, as instructed.
  • Communicate with other providers such as skilled home care providers, private care managers, hospice, and others as needed to ensure effective communication of care needs.
  • Call or meet with caregivers prior to the initial client visit to communicate pertinent information/details of care. Provide tours of onsite facilities to caregivers, as needed.
  • Be knowledgeable and able to provide information on community resources to clients/families.

  • Serve as back-up for care managers for planned or unexpected time off
  • Provide personal care, companion care, and transportation services to clients, as needed
  • Support the Director of Client Services
  • Administrative duties
  • Document all communication into the internal database and include appropriate internal staff.
  • Participate in marketing or recruiting events.
  • Participate in the care manager on-call rotation.

Required Hours

  • Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm in the Havertown office

Qualifications

  • Must be a CNA or have an Associate degree
  • Must have 5+ years providing direct care
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
  • Ability to assess and respond to emergency situations
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
  • Ability to work well with peers
  • Ability and willingness to drive throughout Delaware, Chester and Montgomery Counties
  • Valid driver’s license with no serious driving violations

Job Type: Full-time
