Job Description:
The Client Engagement Associate is integral in both leading and supporting various client relationships and projects. The responsibilities of this position include client project leadership, account management, and business development support. As the role is mastered and you gain knowledge of our solutions, there will be opportunity to increasingly contribute to the delivery of our solutions. The Associate will have direct contact with various types of client industries and solutions, while working alongside talented and diverse teams.

You'll play an active role in all aspects of client engagement. This includes gathering, analyzing and presenting information, developing and communicating recommendations as well as implementing solutions. Our clients include Fortune 50 companies, professional sports teams, non-profit organizations and a range of additional companies in the private, public and social sectors.

Areas of Focus:
Leads client project plans
  • Ensures all client onboarding and ongoing tasks are completed via standard checklist
  • Proactively researches clients to understand current state of their business and how this impacts our work
  • Develops and executes a project plan based on contract deliverables
  • Supports client team in completion of deliverables
  • Primary point of contact for client proactive and reactive communication, including progress summaries and status update calls/emails
Responsible for client event materials and venue coordination (in-person and virtual)
  • Organizes framework for training or consulting content for all deliverables, follows up with Partner/Principal responsible to drive preparation
  • Ensures all in-person venue coordination is completed and virtual experience is prepared (ex. creating or double checking meeting lines)
  • Often partners with a Specialist to collaborate
Strengthen client relationships
  • Participates in client discovery calls and drafts initial proposals and contracts with Principal/Partner direction
  • Demonstrates trust building with client (timely in communication, awareness of differing needs, effectively redirects changes or owns mistakes)
  • Leverage CRM system to track our client development activities and identify opportunities
Client Teams: Serves as Client Team Lead or both Client Team Lead and Support roles simultaneously depending on client size/scope
Other responsibilities as needed to help drive to our vision, mission and live by our values

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Project Management: leads and coordinates multiple tasks and stakeholders, effectively plans and manages deadlines, identifies and mitigates against risks
  • Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and work effectively with ambiguity
  • Leads client relationships effectively (SME in the clients needs, positive feedback)
  • 2-4 years in client services
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
