Vibra Hospital of Boise is seeking candidates for our Clinical Assistant Apprentice Program!

Vibra Hospital of Boise, located in Boise, ID, is a 40 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Our Clinical Assistant Apprentice Program provides an opportunity to receive training from experienced professionals that will help you transition into a full time role at Vibra Hospital of Boise! This 80 hour course will help to expand job knowledge and gain the necessary skills to provide direct patient care and to begin your career in healthcare.
You will be trained for 4 weeks in both classroom/zoom and on-the-job training. Once successfully completing this course- a written & skills exam- you will be eligible to start your full time employment with us!
Opportunity Overview:
The Clinical Assistant is responsible for assisting patients with personal hygiene and the activities of daily living. Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living; and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.
- A high school diploma is required to start the program
