Facilitating Health and Recovery
Youth with substance use issues are at a higher risk for mental health problems, including depression, behavioral issues, and suicide. The Lincoln Families Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) program provides short-term intensive therapy to families and youth struggling with substance use and mental health challenges through a variety of therapeutic and behavioral supports designed for:

  • Adolescents: Providing individual therapy to improve self-awareness and confidence, set goals, build communication and social skills, and reduce substance use and problem behaviors.
  • Parents: Assisting parents to regain influence over their adolescent.
  • Families: Coaching and modeling to improve family problem-solving and increase feelings of love and connection.
  • Communities: Improving access to community systems such as school and probation for decreasing barriers to treatment.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The ideal Clinical Supervisor candidate is someone who has strong clinical skills, a passion for family-center healing, and an ability to show up with authenticity and vulnerability. The Clinical Supervisor must demonstrate an enthusiasm for developing clinicians both professionally and personally, while still maintaining appropriate boundaries and centering client care. Must demonstrate a willingness to initiate and facilitate courageous conversations for the wellness of our MDFT team and the families that we serve.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • LCSW or MFT, licensed in California, plus three years of clinical experience.
  • Must have 2 years of experience post-licensure and the ability to supervise ASW and AMFT (associates) including fulfilling all BBS requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy methods, with particular emphasis on family therapy experience
  • Experience with substance abuse treatment desirable
  • Valid California driver’s license, a clear driving record and personal vehicle insurance coverage. This position is based in Alameda & Contra Costa Counties.
  • Experience with MediCal documents and requirements. Must meet eligibility requirements to bill for Medi-Cal services
