Essential Functions

  • Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
  • Collaborates with Physicians to reduce cost and spend for Physician Preference Items.
  • Includes Physicians early in all discussions: selection process, clinical outcomes, cost benefit and standardization opportunities.
  • Reviews and assesses applicable financial, clinical, operational, evidence based literature and appropriately assists Physicians in the selection and evaluation of cost effective products, services, and processes in the healthcare system.
  • Facilitates coordination between departments to achieve target goals set by Administration
  • Prepare Supply Chain Playbooks to present to Executive Leadership.
  • Uses designated methodology for calculating savings targets and tracking realization based on savings categories, contract compliance, utilization review and new technology cost avoidance.
  • Facilitates coordination between manufacturers/vendors and departments for product trials.
  • Manages implementation of new product approved through the Value Analysis Process.
  • Manages Product Complaint Process to ensure appropriate documentation and resolution of medical surgical supply complaints/issues.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Required to Conduct presentations and facilitate large group meetings.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Requires the ability to work under/handle stressful situations.
  • Must be a quick thinker and able to displays positive emotional behavior, as well as apply positive social skills with co-workers, vendors, customers, and patients.

Work Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly

Qualifications/TrainingIn lieu of degree,10 years associated healthcare value analysis, resource or materials management experiences required.

Licences/Certifications/Registrations/Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field

RN License Preferred

MBA Preferred

CVAHP Preferred

CMRP Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
