Every day, you'll bring critical day-to-day leadership and thinking to the table, working with teams of architects, aligning cross-functional projects, ensuring that they're within reason, fiscally and technically. You'll collaborate with internal teams and business leaders alike, creating strategically sound, cloud-native Solutions & Target State Architectures. You'll have a major say in budgeting, hiring, mentoring, setting priorities and fostering a client-centric environment where everyone learns and grows. At the end of the day, your work will have tremendous and positive impact, whether it's in-house, in collaboration with technologists across JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s global technology community or in partnership with some of the most important tech firms in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Define current, proximal and target state architecture for the strategic internal user-facing Service Product applications at Chase, optimizing the business value and delivering best-in-class solutions for today's and tomorrow's needs
  • Develop multi-year architecture roadmap aligned to our business and technology strategy, drivers and priorities
  • Create architecture designs and documentation that provide technical blueprints for the development teams based on the business goals & objectives
  • Build new innovative solutions using modern technology stack and cloud native design principles that solve business problems and drive business growth
  • Build strong partnership with the Application Development teams, Product Owners, Architects and other key stakeholders
  • Make sounds architecture decisions and develop deep business domain knowledge

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Fluency in cloud-native architecture and design experience across all layers of a system
  • Expertise in application modernization and monolith de-composition using micro-front end patterns, APIs, Event Driven Architecture (Kafka, SQS/SNS/Event Bridge), Containerization/K8s, Serverless and SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • Experience with Business Process and Case Management solutions (Camunda, BPMN)
  • Familiarity with multiple enterprise integration patterns & techniques
  • Experience in architecting for private & public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) with AWS experience being strongly preferred
  • Experience in domain driven design (DDD), lean architecture and agile delivery
  • Strategic thinking and passion for technology, business strategy and business processes
  • Experience in risk and risk control compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with clarity, brevity and tailor message to a technical or business audience
  • Ability to make sound architecture decisions based on enterprise architecture principles, structural (patterns, frameworks, configurability, etc.) and operational characteristics (security, reliability, availability, scalability, cost, etc.)
