Position Summary: The CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant will work as part of a nursing team and is directly responsible for providing high quality care to our residents while being a constant companion striving to protect, nurture and sustain the resident in a competent, caring and compassionate manner. In addition to providing high quality care, you are also responsible for resident safety and the delivery of all services and tasks under the resident care plan.

CNA Primary Responsibilities:

  • Determine Resident's needs
  • Provides Residents with outstanding care (customer service)
  • Assist Residents with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, personal care, toileting, meals/feeding, etc.
  • Assists Residents with going short distances around the building
  • Other duties as assigned

CNA Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts State Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA)
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and squat for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to push, pull objects and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds or more with assistance on occasion
  • Ability to interact effectively with residents
  • Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated

Direct Support Staff: They act as a caregiver for a wide range of individuals with an intellectual disability, developmental disability, or an acquired brain injury (ABI or TBI). Customer service skills, administrative skills, and compassion for others are all traits of a Support Advocate.   • Responsibilities

· Direct Support Staff are responsible for the provision of day-to-day services to our program participants in group Homes.

· To assist and/ or teach individuals varying levels of personal care which may include bathing, toileting, teeth brushing etc. so individuals always look and feel their best.

· To assist and/ or teach individuals household maintenance, meal prep and/or shopping, while providing ongoing opportunities for individuals to assume increasing control & responsibility over their daily lives.

· Support Advocates may also accompany individuals on appointments as well.

· To follow routines of the individuals including, but not limited to; Behavior Support Plans, personal care, Physical Therapy, etc

  • Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications:
  • · 18+ years old
  • · Minimum of 6 months – 1 Year experience
  • · High School Diploma or equivalent
  • · Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
  • · COVID Vaccination/Booster is required for this position.

  • · Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
