Our 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility has been the trusted partner for those in need of care since its original founding in 1850. It is a non-profit, non-sectarian residence, dedicated to getting it’s residents a higher quality of life.
Methodist Home For Nursing and Rehabilitation has openings for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a Per Diem basis for all shifts.
Requirements:
Possess NYS CNA Certified Nursing Assistant License
2-3 years nursing home experience as a CNA
Must be flexible working all shift, including weekends
Ability to build rapport with patients
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Ability to work well in teams
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Ability to take a lead role; set positive role image and mentor associates as needed
Strong customer orientation to older adults
Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.
Responsibilities:
Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
Provide companionship and basic care to patients
Maintain a clean and healthy environment
The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere.
