This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division

The Collaboration Study Specialist is the main point of contact for collaboration activities with healthcare organizations and providers for Laboratory Diagnostics. This position can be remote within the US East Coast area. Preferred local candidates either close to Tarrytown, NY or Newark, DE for hybrid remote/on-site working time.

As the main point of contact for the execution of the collaborations process, the Collaboration Study Specialist will focus on responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

• Verification of studies and data analysis on laboratory diagnostics instruments
• Write verification plans and reports detailing testing strategy, test results, conclusions, and excursions
• Write as well as review reports and performed data analysis for studies
• Contribute to assay feasibility testing and optimization of method parameters
• Assist with cross-platform-correlation studies
• Responsible for independently managing contractual and compliance aspects for assigned collaborations
• Carrying-out, and ensuring that collaboration activities within the US and globally follow the defined process for healthcare organizations and providers as described in the respective SHS internal global procedure and directive (1_D_103)
• Cooperation with functions heavily involved in collaboration activities (e.g., Clinical Affairs, Specimen Acquisition, Marketing, R&D, etc.)
• Development up to the execution of project agreements in close collaboration with internal Legal and Compliance teams and engaging other departments as needed.
• Preparation of internal documents required to present projects for review and/or approval to the Collaboration team and the Collaboration Review boards.
• Use of a global electronic contract archive system to archive, monitor and maintain all contract-related documentation of assigned collaborations
• Provide contract administration support to Collaboration Manager
• Participates and contributes to areas of improvement within the collaboration process and implements collaboration improvements

Requirements:

• BS in Biochemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, or a related discipline
• Experience working in Wet Lab or as a medical technologist
• Experience working with Blood Analyzers or similar laboratory diagnostics instruments
• Experience in assay development and/or verification
• Excellent independent and team working skills
• Self-motivation to effectively prioritize work and follow up with internal/external customers to ensure timely initiation of collaborations
• Multitasking and flexibility to address/advance urgent topics
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication and networking skills
• Ability to integrate functional expertise with business knowledge to develop
• optimal solutions for complex problems
• Quick comprehension and adjustment to updated processes, working environment, and tools
• Experience in negotiation agreements is beneficial

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
