We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst for First Quality Consumer Products located in McElhattan, PA.

This position is a responsible for the management of assigned customer accounts including credit evaluations, financial reviews, collections, and Market Development Funding (MDF) levels. Evaluate and maintain accrual accounts sufficient to adequately cover promotional and other expenses associated with customer accounts. Interface with Sales Ambassadors and support departments to facilitate the sales effort.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for internal and external customers for commercials aspects
  • Release orders that go on credit hold
  • Collection of customers account balances via phone and email contact
  • Review, investigate and act upon customer’s deductions in assigned time frame
  • Issue credit and debit memos as required to clear approved customer claims or identify chargebacks to customer accounts
  • Interface with Sales Ambassadors and Brokers to resolve claims as needed
  • Perform root cause analysis and interact with cross–functional department peers to identify areas of improvement to limit reoccurrences of unauthorized claims due to internal deficiencies on assigned accounts
  • Evaluate and maintain sufficient MDF accrual accounts for customer promotional and sales related expenses using Vistex
  • Prepare monthly reports to Sales force and Finance team as needed
  • Create and maintain Vistex agreements to ensure proper accruals for promo and rebated related customer programs
  • Perform maintenance on customer files within ERP system as needed

Education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Posses advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to recognize problematic processes and take a leadership role in the design and implementation of solutions
  • Team player with ability to interact with all departments
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
