DataBank is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator with Paralegal experience to join our Revenue Operations team. The Contract Administrator will help manage existing DataBank contracts, revisions and the redlining of Customer contracts. In addition, this role will negotiate contract terms and conditions between various parties and maintain files for contracts containing original contracts, relevant correspondence, amendments, clarifications and payment schedules. The Contract Administrator will clarify the terms of each contract type and assist in the updating of records providing tracking report.

To succeed in this role, the Contract Administrator will need to detect errors and inconsistencies in contracts, and have solid knowledge of contract law and be able to understand risks associated with contract wording. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, accountable, understand business and are proficient multitaskers.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Director of Revenue Operations to continue expansion of a comprehensive contract strategy
  • Updating contracts providing consistency, standardized language and guidelines
  • Work to establish a more visible contract compliance framework for both customers and vendors
  • Sharing and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, business partners and employees
  • Interface with our legal team to drive mutually agreeable language and terms
  • Obtaining contract-related information from relevant parties
  • Reviewing contracts, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines
  • Liaising between parties negotiating terms and conditions, drafting and revising changes as required
  • Identifying potential risks contract changes may pose to company
Qualifications:

  • Paralegal experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in Corporate Contracts
  • 2+ years of previous contract administration or related experience
  • Proficient knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to relevant contracts
  • Experience in the technical sector and SaaS solutions
  • Proficient with MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent reading and comprehension skills
  • Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
  • Has strong negotiation and mediation skills
  • Able to work independently as part of a team and individual contributor
  • Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies
  • Ability to work remotely
