We currently have an opportunity for a Contract Manager in New York City!
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop, monitor, and implement annual Operational and Contract Strategy Plan for assigned team(s).
2. Implement marketing activities reflective of goals and objectives outlined in Operational and Contract Strategy Plans.
3. Ensure full team staff knowledge of annual Operational Plan, Contract Strategy and growth Projections.
4. Hire, train, evaluate supervise and terminate office support staff for assigned team(s).
5. Educate staff at all levels of the operation and develop required skill sets of staff.
6. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, coordinators and corporate regarding client care and payment issues
7. Responsible for assigned team weekly staff meeting.
8. Be available for any emergences that arise with the daily On Call.
9. Ensure appropriate in-house staffing levels are maintained by assigned team(s)
10. Implement and monitor all Company policies and procedures for assigned team(s).
11. Participate as member of Regional QI team.
12. Assist with marketing activities as required.
13. Follow all agency Policy and Procedures.
14. Ensure HIPPA requirements are adhere to.
15. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Educational: College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
2. Travel: Travel may be required for business purposes. If so, the employee must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
3. Work Experience:
a. A minimum of three years home care experience with a Licensed Home Care Service Agency, Certified Home Health Agency, Long Term Home Health Care Program, Hospice Program or other health care provider as defined by particular state regulations.
b. Served in a position that required administrative, operational and supervisor responsibilities.
c. Ability to use computerized systems.
d. Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills.
e. Ability to work well under pressure.
Additional Requirements: Knowledge of all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulatory requirements, with JCAHO experience preferred. Bi-lingual – English/Spanish a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
