Contractor - Global Supplier Maintenance Clerk (Remote) Job at Carnival Cruise Line
Job Description
We are seeking a Global Supplier Maintenance Clerk Contractor to be a key contributor in the area of Global Financial Service operations by supporting our global brands in reviewing their submissions for supplier information, and/or banking setups and updates, along with ensuring all supplier setup and update policies are followed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Data entry related to supplier and banking maintenance for all operating companies
- Research, and Cold Calls for Bank Verification of Suppliers
- Research and validation of OFAC Compliance and US Tax identification numbers
- Provide excellent customer service for all departments who require supplier and banking maintenance
- Assist in data cleansing of banking and supplier information for all operating companies when necessary
- Process and system testing and documentation
- Provide general support and training for departments who require assistance with the supplier maintenance process
- No or very little travel likely
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree in Finance and/or Accounting preferred but not required
- 2-3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and/or Receivables, Finance or Accounting
- Oracle and MarkView experience preferred
- Excel and Word knowledge
- Proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization, strong communication and facilitation skills with both internal and external constituents
- Hard-working and the ability to learn quickly
- Diligent in meeting deadlines and adept at managing peak workloads
