Role Overview
The Retail Operations Coordinator is responsible for ordering supplies, reviewing policy and procedure, as well as participating with boutique openings, and assisting with operational projects. This person will report to the Manager of Retail Operations and is based in New York.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Retail Operations Assistant Manager and Retail Operations Manager with monthly supply ordering for boutiques
- Review employee sales for alignment with VCA policy
- Assist the Retail Operations Manager and Retail Operations Manager with the organization of the boutique administrator meeting
- Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures
- Assist in development of communication to the boutique network
- Participate and assist with Boutique Openings
- Manage the VIM (vendor invoice management) system for Retail operations; review, sort, and prepare invoices for processing in Vendor Invoice Management System (VIM)
- Manage Special Projects as needed
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Required experience:
- Experience in a retail environment with an emphasis on the luxury market
Technical skills/abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Familiarity with SAP
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail oriented
Personal skills:
- Flexibility
- Curious and eager to learn
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel (20% commitment)
- Stress resistant
