Currahee Trailers, is a manufacturer of landscape and utility trailers, produces 100+ trailers per week and sells product throughout the Eastern United States and Canada. The company’s products are built to last and reflect the 30+ years Currahee has been in business.

We have an immediate opening in our Finance division for a Corporate Financial Controller.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses the following skills:

  • Ability to support the cash management and financial reporting of the company
  • Ability to work effectively with a team responsible for credit, collection, financial policies, controls, month end closure and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and 3-statement financial modeling
  • BS/BA degree in accounting
  • Detail-orientation, organization, and multi-tasking capabilities
  • At least 6 years relevant manufacturing accounting experience and staff management

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage the credit and cash management of the company
  • Oversee cash management including on-time collections, processing of payments, deductions, and cash forecasting
  • Manage and oversee AR securitization and supply chain financing
  • Manage the financial reporting of the company
  • Manage corporate consolidated monthly financial reports in accordance with US GAAP, which includes USD translation and elimination entries
  • Lead annual income tax provision, periodic income tax installment calculations, and income tax return filings with external tax advisors
  • Lead corporate annual audits with external auditors
  • Complete special projects as assigned with a heavy focus on inventory recognition and working with our 3rd party IT partner to automate and build systematic financial controls & policies in the ERP system
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts (on premises)
  • Conduct general ledger close management (monthly)

Salary and Benefits

  • $155,000.00 compensation annually, which includes
  • 3 weeks paid vacation annually, and 4 wellness days
