About The Opportunity

To assist and support the Director of Sales in leading a team of Account Executives to achieve new customer acquisition and revenue expansion targets across the US.

To effectively lead a team of Account Executives, the Associate Director of Sales will be expected stay up to date on travel industry, sales and market trends by carrying their own quota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Sales to drive, coach and track team performance to achieve new business win targets
  • Support the DoS to Implement and maintain operational processes to increase NBW conversion rates
  • Maximize use of our tech stack to manage pipelines, reach and exceed quota, increase lifetime contract value, and improve productivity
  • Track performance of all AEs against KPIs and provide direction and feedback.
  • Support DoS in recruitment of high-producing Account Executives
  • Work closely with Sales Program Readiness Manager to ensure a smooth transition from new recruit onboarding program in order to decrease ramp time for new employees
  • Assist Team Leader in effectively developing, implementing and updating budgets and results based incentives
  • Assist the DoS in facilitating ad-hoc training and Gong coaching
  • Support DoS in employee retention goals by driving and maintaining our Watermelon Culture throughout sales team
  • Attend all team and team management meetings
  • Handle all DoS responsibilities in their absence.
  • Identify, qualify and win new business within our Ideal Customer Profile
  • Maintain an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline
  • Delivery of results set against objectives and KPIs
  • Create and maintain relationships with key contacts in prospect account list
  • Implement and utilize internal tech stack to full capacity
  • Leverage sales methodologies to uncover customer needs and use solution selling to win
  • Adequate knowledge + comfortability in selling our products and services
  • Manage, execute and win formal prospect RFPs

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in B2B sales or 1+ years in leadership in Customer Success Management
  • Proven track record of achieving results while managing demanding expectations
  • Ability to build strong business partnerships both outside, and within the organization.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze information to diagnose the root of an issue and design an optimal solution.
  • Innate organizational skills with experience executing on processes and plans.
  • Success adapting in fast-growing and changing environments.
  • Experience with cross functional collaboration.
    • Ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
