Customer Service/Billing Representative - Monmouth Junction, NJ - Full Time Job at Hermann Services

Salary/Pay Rate: $21+ / hour
Hermann Transportation is looking for a Customer Service / Billing Representative to join our growing Transportation Division located in Monmouth Junction, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Issue invoices to customers (paper, email, web portal and/ or EDI)
- Work with operations staff to obtain all required delivery documentation
- Confirm entered data from customer requirements documentation
- Organize and categorize billing documents
- Respond to customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner
- Update the customer master file with contact information
- Work with Accounts Receivable Specialist to research any short paid invoices
- Positively promotes Hermann Services to existing and potential employees and customers
- Perform other A/R and administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Must be detail oriented.
- Excellent data entry skills including alpha-numeric and 10-key.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Previous background knowledge of trucking industry a plus.
- Knowledge of Seafreight/Drayage invoicing a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Products.
- TMW, Mcleod and Great Plains experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
