At Kurtz Bros, Inc. we produce the finest topsoil, mulch, and compost for beautiful yards and gardens. For over 75 years, we’ve been committed to customer satisfaction, quality and making the good earth better at our nine locations throughout Northeast Ohio. (Avon, Akron, Hudson, Garfield Heights, Independence, North Canton, Strongsville, Valley View & Willowick)
Our season starts in the Spring and runs through the Summer, and we can offer flexible schedules to all employees! Our teams have fun whether they are participating in our monthly contests or enjoying free food during our employee/customer appreciation events.
We offer a variety of positions for all different skillsets – Customer Service Reps, Yard Associates, Heavy Equipment Operators, Dump Truck Drivers (no CDL required!).
Seasonal employees are eligible for some benefits, 401k and employee discounts! (*waiting period applies).
Some positions may turn in to full time, year round positions. Come GROW with our company—we offer careers with room to expand—from Foremen to Managers, and BEYOND.
We are looking for reliable customer service representatives who enjoy a fast-paced environment, can handle multi-tasking and enjoy assisting customers at our store locations. This position requires the use of a computer, phone, register and the occasional trip outside in our product areas. You’ll need to do basic math to quote and prepare orders for our customers – but don’t worry – we'll train you!

- For each season an employee returns, they are eligible for:
- Paid Time Off
- Holiday Pay
- Up to $1,000 Return Bonus
