Our AI cloud-based dental practice management software created by dentists for dentists and the staff. It is an evidence-based platform that takes a systematic approach to patient care and practice management. Software features include comprehensive clinical exams, an advanced patient portal with interactive communications that is HIPAA compliant; real-time billing and insurance interaction between practices, patient and insurer; cloud imaging; and auto-generated patient risk assessment and personalized reports.

Oryx Dental Software is seeking a Remote Customer Service Specialist for a full time position.

The Role:

This position is open to applicants from various backgrounds within the dental, medical, or software/technical support fields. We value diversity, intelligence, experience, willingness to help others, and dedication. Good communication is essential. The ability to learn, solve problems, and find satisfaction in helping others be successful is also important.

  • Provide solutions to users via support tickets as well as phone sessions
  • Troubleshoot issues within the software and provide input to Product Team
  • Mentor clients how to use of the software through live share screen sessions
  • Identify user needs and lead them to specific features that best address their situation
  • Share feature requests and effective workarounds with teammates
  • Inform customers about new features and functionalities
  • Follow up with open issues until the customer confirms the matter is resolved.

Qualifications:

  • Requires two years of work experience as a Dental Office Manager, Receptionist, Dental Assistant, or medical field experience.
  • Requires effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Tech savvy
  • Quick learner, can troubleshoot on the spot
  • Patient and understanding of the issue that the user has
  • Must be highly motivated and can stay on task working remotely

Highly desired qualifications:

  • Experience with deploying any Dental practice management software
  • Experience as a First line Technical/Product Support Specialist or similar role in any industry
  • Delivered training to the dental industry
  • Experienced user of any dental practice management software such as Curve, Dentrix, Dentrix G4, Dentrix G6, Easy Dental, Oryx, or Open Dental
  • Written user documentation or clinical papers for the dental industry.
