Customer Service Representative (Part & Full Time) Job at Pueblo of Pojoaque
JOB PURPOSE: Provides excellent customer service to Pizza 9 customers and casino guests seeking to purchase food.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Request and record customer orders, and compute bills using electronic cash register
- Accept payment from customers and make change as necessary
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Relay food orders to cooks as needed
- Clean and organize eating and service areas.
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints
- Bus tables as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and presentation helpful
- Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities
- Excellent Customer Service
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be people oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous fast food experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work schedule varies, flexibility required; Required to work weekends and holidays
- Standing-60% /Walking-40% /Sitting-0%; Restaurant/Dining room setting.
- Some light lifting may be required, must be able to move tables, chairs and bussing tables as needed.
- Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise
- Shift work required
