We are seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager in our Great Neck, NY office. Preferred location is near Great Neck, NY, but this position can be worked remotely from the eastern half of the US. The project manager will be responsible for simultaneously executing numerous security-related projects which are varied and complex in nature. The project manager will also be responsible for managing teams to carry out the InfoSec priorities of the enterprise.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Managing numerous complex projects with various priorities and stakeholders.
- Developing and executing action plans for completing projects related to the enterprise’s InfoSec priorities.
- Managing teams and effectively delegating responsibilities to team members.
- Overseeing data analysis of incident and threat response; developing and implementing plans to improve procedures.
- Managing complex budgets, including planning and forecasting.
- Continuously reviewing, improving, and executing business policies and procedures.
- Creating thorough and accurate reports and providing status updates on projects; presenting findings to senior leadership on a routine basis.
- Resolving varied problems and conducting internal audits as needed.
The ideal candidate should also possess the following:
- Must have significant and extensive work experience as a project manager.
- Familiarity with InfoSec concepts and issues.
- Must have experience with NIST Risk Management Framework and understanding of federal directives and requirements related to cyber security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable with public speaking and developing relationships across all levels of the enterprise.
- Budgeting and auditing experience strongly desired.
- Effective leadership and delegation abilities.
- Outstanding time management skills – should be able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with managing a team.
- Effective leadership and delegation abilities.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment using persuasion, expertise and judgment to affect change.
- Discretion and sensitivity requiring absolute confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through skills.
- Some travel via car or air to company locations required, which may require overnight stays.
Estimated annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $165,000.
Base pay is only part of our total compensation package, which also includes an attractive annual discretionary bonus and robust suite of employee benefits for which you are eligible to participate in starting on your first day of employment.
Base pay offered will be determined on an individualized basis and we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
