We are looking for a Data Analyst to help drive advanced analytics and quantitative guidance to the finance organization and overall company. The role will support company’s revenue growth and deliver additional value using statistical approaches and data modeling, including the maintenance of lifetime value (LTV) models and operationalizing the model into the revenue recognition process with accounting team. The role will also work cross-functionally to provide new insights on our customers.
The ideal candidate has significant experience developing statistical models, making data-driven decisions and delivering high impact learnings.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team across Accounting, BI, Data Engineering, Product & Revenue Operations to develop and maintain LTV forecasting models and standardize revenue recognition process and related operations
- Position as the subject matter expert for LTV, monitoring the performance of its components and addressing questions to business stakeholders
- Work with marketing analytics and data science team to analyze customer insights and churn behaviors, and develop recommendations to improve the metrics
- Partner across finance team to embed predictive analytics into revenue forecasting and ongoing performance management
- Use statistical analysis and visualizations to guide strategic business decisions and uncover opportunities to improve upon organizational goals
Required Competencies:
- BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar. Master’s degree preferred.
- 0-3 years of progressive roles in analytics or data science
- Experience with customer behavioral analytics (e.g. LTV, churn, segmentation etc.)
- Strong statistical background and experience with time series, decision tree, segmentation and regression models
- Proficient in Python or related programming languages. Experience with SQL, Excel & Tableau
- Proficient in Tableau and data visualization packages in Python/R. Experience incorporating a wide variety of data sets and building automated dashboards
- Excellent collaborator with strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to share results with non-technical audience
- Excellent project management experience
- Knowledge of ecommerce, digital marketing and internet platform technology sectors preferable
- Experience in Healthcare industry preferred but not required
