Northland Controls is seeking a Delivery Driver/Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator.

The successful candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working under minimal supervision and has an excellent driving record.

The mission of the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Coordinator is to efficiently and effectively transport inbound and outbound material to and from job sites in the bay area. Manage inbound and outbound shipments by organizing, monitoring, and storage of goods to ensure optimization of the order cycle.

Qualifications

  • Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent customer service, accountability, and communications skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage independently all related daily shipping activities under minimal supervision
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience a plus


Duties

  • Process and log all incoming shipments
  • Process and log all outgoing shipments
  • Fulfill sales orders using the corporate ERP system and other tools
  • Effectively deliver materials to job sites in the Bay Area
  • Maintain proper inventory records and counts
  • Maintain a clean warehouse free of obvious safety hazards
  • To continuously review current process and practices with the aim of increasing efficiency and customer service
  • Ensure effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained on all procurement tools
  • Check all work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with instructions
  • Respond to and dealing with communication by email and telephone
  • Coordinates a variety of clerical and manual duties related to receiving, storing and shipping merchandise, supplies and equipment
  • To work in compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety standards and requirements, with the safety of self and others in mind at all time.
  • Will perform cycle count activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special project functions as assigned
