We are looking for DeltaV Automation Specialists to design, generate, test, implement and support all phase configuration of a DeltaV library.

Job Type: Full Time Regular Employee

Work Location: East Coast USA, mostly remote

Travel: Up to 25% for project planning/scoping and design review, SAT assistance and startup support

Start Date: January 2023

What you’ll do:

Design, configure, test and implement S88 principles, DeltaV Batch, Phases, Equipment Modules and Control Modules

What you should have:

• BS in Engineering discipline
• 4+ years of DeltaV process control systems configuration experience
• Knowledge in:

- Command-driven Sequential Function Charts (SFCs)
- S88 state-driven Running, Holding, Stopping, Aborting and Restarting SFCs
- Failure condition definitions
- DeltaV live configuration
- JavaScript / TypeScript

• Demonstrated DeltaV implementation experience
• Strong understanding of class-based orientation (object-oriented) programming
• Strong understanding of GxP documentation practices for S88 control systems in the pharmaceuticals industry
• Site start-up experience and/or site process equipment support experience
• Troubleshooting of process and/or process equipment
• Ability to read P&IDs, Instrumentation and Controls wiring diagrams
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to travel to customer sites

Preferred Requirements:

• Emerson coding standard (PCSD) knowledge
• MS SQL Server knowledge (general SQL will do)
• Industry standards (ISA S88, GAMP5 and/or 21CFR11) experience
• Pharmaceuticals industry experience
