Position Title: Deposit Specialist
Center Location: Regional Office
Person Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer
Position Responsibilities:
The Deposit Specialist position will ensure that all deposits are recorded properly and in a timely manner. The Deposit Specialist will be a part of the Finance Team and collaborate with the team in getting the monthly financials completed. Additionally, the Deposit Specialist will make deposits on a regular basis.
Key Tasks
Record all deposits that come in from the region into the deposits database, and make sure that the recorded information is correctly uploaded into the financial system.
Cross-check all bank accounts to verify that nothing has been overlooked or omitted in funds deposited into the accounts.
Perform RED deposits for all checks that come into the Regional Office
Take deposits to the bank when necessary.
Collaborate with the Finance Team in completing the monthly financials. This includes the following:
Researching deposit data for which there are questions
Assisting in the monthly bank reconciliations, specifically related to deposits
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of computers (inclusive of Excel, Google Email, Google Docs, etc.)
Must be willing to perform necessary research and get to the bottom of issues as they arise
Congenial personality for communicating with the centers
Detail oriented
Organized and able to prioritize a variety of tasks
Team player
Must be able to handle work that becomes repetitive in nature, and once learned, becomes almost habitual in the day to day tasks of things
