Position Summary:

Provides technical assistance to end users remotely and onsite at clinics, including install, repair, configuration, and modification of desktop computer hardware and software. Provides basic support for telecommunications needs. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.

Your contribution to the team includes:

  • Test, diagnose and resolve end user desktop hardware, OS, and application problems, including the ability to identify desktop application interdependencies and or conflicts.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware parts, repairs, and replacements.
  • Test new software, system patches and operating system images for conflicts with existing applications using a defined test plan.
  • Create basic packages for software deployment.
  • Setup, configure and maintain printers (local and network printers).
  • Perform compliance work relevant to IT Information Protection Policies such as enforcing system policies, end user communication, system patching, etc.
  • Ensure timely task completion and identify conflicting priorities to management.
  • Act as a committed team member to ensure a positive work environment and successful project/task completion.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Helpdesk Specialist I/Desktop Technician I.

Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of related experience in a PC and telecommunications environment required. Two-year Associates degree in IT field or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record determined by HealthPoint’s insurance carrier (Required)
  • CompTIA Network+ (Preferred)
  • Microsoft MCSA: Windows 10 / MCITP: Windows 7 (Preferred)

Proof of immunizations and/or immunity to: COVID-19, MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), Varicella, Annual Influenza, and TB Quantifier are required for all employees. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Tdap (within last 10 years) is required. Hepatitis B. is required for clinical employees with potential exposure to blood/blood products. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immunity prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
