Vibra Specialty Hospital at DeSoto is seeking a
Full Time Dietary Aide to join our team!
Vibra Specialty Hospital at DeSoto , located in DeSoto, TX is a 60 bed LTAC providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Qualifications/Skills :
- High School Diploma or the equivalent in education or experience required.
- Food Handlers license required.
- Patient related service experience preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills :
- Knowledge of patient diets and safe food handling requirements and use of Nutritional Care Manual.
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
