How you’ll contribute
The Digital Marketing Manager will support tactical execution and digital projects for UT marketing. This individual will support digital marketing efforts across commercial brands, driving to optimal UX and leading internal support in areas of SEO/SEM and commercial website performance. This role will drive key efforts with external agencies and brand teams to strategically align content, analyze user data to inform and refine approaches to digital communications, implement best practices and maximize digital presence across channels.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead brand teams as an internal subject matter expert in channels of SEO/SEM and website performance while informing brand digital strategy and related tactical plans as needed. Act as department manager of Digital Asset Manager (DAM) system and Content Management Systems (CMS) supporting web assets.
  • Collaborate with brands to support efforts with digital agencies and related execution on tactical plans (Website, SEO/SEM, social media, digital advertising, and back-end data system management)
  • Liaise with IT, Global Data Operations, and related teams to ensure cross-functional project timelines, resources, and systems are managed appropriately, complying with ADA and related UT standards
  • Analyze complex performance data to support the overall UT digital roadmap while providing routine and ad-hoc reporting on digital key performance metrics and their related business impact
  • Support Associate Director Digital Marketing and brand teams as needed on strategic long-term projects, moving UT towards omnichannel marketing and customer communications
  • Support brand teams (along with digital agency) in tactical execution of CRM as needed
  • Understand emerging digital capabilities and opportunities for UT's business as it continues to evolve/grow. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging channels, and competition; track marketplace developments and make recommendations related to regulatory, sales, marketing, social media, CRM, SEO/SEM, technology, new digital products, and solutions.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field, with 8 years of relevant experience in technology, digital marketing or project management
  • Experience managing vendors and digital project management
  • Proficiency with UX, data management, digital ecosystems and best practices
  • Analytical skills with ability to execute on insights
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of life sciences industry marketing experience
  • Experience with SEO/SEM, social media, CRM and related digital/web marketing channels
  • Experienced problem solver with data driven solutions in digital marketing
  • Salesforce tools (including Marketing Cloud, Salescloud, CDP and other modules)
