Position Summary


CNAs at SWC provide support and care for adults with intellectual and other disabilities. CNAs assist residents with day-to-day activities by following individualized care plans and documenting information in the electronic health record. They work cooperatively with others to promote a positive living environment.

Work Hours:

  • We have a variety of vacancies, both full-time and part-time with most vacancies being on 2nd and 3rd shift. We have 8 and 12-hour shifts.
  • Some holidays and every other weekend are required. You will be provided your permanent schedule midway through your training program.

Salary Information


Starting pay is $23.82* per hour. Pay schedule/range is 06/11. A 12-month probation is required

  • Hourly wage listed includes a temporary $5.00 add-on paid after training is completed and when providing direct care. The add-on is available through June 17, 2023.

Additional Wage Information:

  • $0.80 night differential
  • $0.80 weekend differential
  • $1.60 night/weekend differential

**Sign on bonus applies to those who do not have any prior state service in the last five years. Bonus will be split, $1000 upon hire and $1000 after completing probation. A 12-month probation is required.

Qualifications


Minimally qualified applicants will have both of the following:

  • Able to attend the required training full-time, Monday-Friday during the first 6 weeks of employment and obtain CNA certification.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
