A day in the life of a Director, People Integrations & Onboarding

As a Director, People Integrations & Onboarding, you will ensure successful onboarding of new employees into the Company through acquisition activities, new hires, and DVM onboarding through the work of the Integration & Onboarding teams that you will oversee. You will support our labor and employment labor compliance across our acquisitions & manages the onboarding of new veterinarians, corporate, and field employees.

You are comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly growing People & Culture department. You think unconventionally—giving our field teams creative solutions to people issues—think more Tony Stark, less Kronos. Also, you must be comfortable living in 1600 different shades of grey, we are not a black and white rigid team. Additionally, you should be a champion of change with the ability to ensure a seamless transition for newly acquired teams into the Amerivet culture.   • Your excellent communication, servant leadership skills and solution focused drive is infectious!
  • You are laser focused on internal customer service, as you will act as the “project manager” for acquisitions on all AmeriVet People Support, P&C needs, collaborating with other team members for the successful closing of acquisitions.
  • You are data driven and will synthesize internal forecasts on talent demand, enterprise strategic changes, productivity, turnover, and other HR data trends and reports to Company stakeholders as necessary or required
  • You will work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure labor compliance (acquisition activity, field onboarding) and to ensure integration data is provided to relevant stakeholders and parties.
Requirements:


Qualifications to be a Director, People Integrations & Onboarding with AmeriVet Veterinary Partners Management

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business, human resources, or related field.
  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions in an HR capacity
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR or related experience in a leadership role.
  • Solution focused. Think unconventionally
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data.
  • Strong working knowledge of business tools and metrics.
  • Attention to detail and strong writing capabilities.
  • Professional follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to achieve results.
  • Exceptional understanding, use, and technical use ability of Microsoft Office
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer, without restrictions.
