WS Thomas is seeking an organized and highly motivated Dispatcher who is looking for an opportunity for growth within a growing family owned company. As a driver manager, you will have accountability for leading a team of drivers to deliver a best in class experience for our customer and drivers.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and assign equipment and load to drivers based on customer needs and driver available hours. Develop solutions that maximize driver efficiency and earnings.
• Ensure drivers are meeting their pickup and delivery times.
• Communicate with Account Manager regarding pickups, deliveries, issues, and concerns. Develop counter measures to provide best in class service.
• Provide safety coaching to Fleet through technology platforms and one on one coaching.
• Track and update tractor locations and trailer list (location & status)
• Collaborate with other divisions to provide solutions for customers.
• Work with Account Manager and organization to develop capacity and revenue growth plans for account.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the trucking industry dispatching and/or driver management is preferred.
• Great attitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good understanding of FMCSR's (Hours of Service and Axle Weight & Spacing).
• Ability to work independently is a must.
• Must be exceptional with driver and customer relations.
• Ability to efficiently use Windows and Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
