POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting for a Reader/Driver for one of our clients located Coeur d’Alene, ID. This Full-time position pays $12 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive Idaho Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired staff to and from clients’ homes, places of business and other locations throughout northern Idaho. 70% - 80% of the job is driving. Employee will use a state vehicle.
• Assisting as needed in filling our written documentation and read written documentation to assist the Idaho Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired staff.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills within the English language.
• Proven, high quality customer service (internal and external customers).
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Solid ability to analyze situations carefully and adopt appropriate courses of action.
• Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times.

· Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 6 am – 3 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required.

· Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
