Under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor this person operates vehicles and transport passengers for our company. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. In this position, you will follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes. You will also maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.

Essential Functions:

· Practice safe driving habits

· Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards

· Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions

· Load cargo and baggage

· Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable

· Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety

· Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed

· Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter

· Load and unload vehicle

· Collect payments, document amount, and offer receipts when necessary

· Complete documentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo and passenger reports

· Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Able to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPS

· Demonstrate safe driving practices

· Able to work well alone and with others

· Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties

· Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines

· Excellent time management skills

· Able to assist passengers when needed

· Organized and able to follow a schedule

· Positive attitude and professional demeanor

· Must be able to pass criminal background check

· Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during daily routine

· Able to work split shifts. nights, and sometimes weekends.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in transporting People is preferred

2. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (must provide copy of Driving record with application)

3. Class B CDL Preferred

4. Must speak Spanish and English

5. Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb and reach.

6. Physically able to lift and carry object up from 50-100 pounds

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
