Driver - Mobile Health Unit Job at Valleywise Health System
Under the operational direction of the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)/ Comprehensive Health Center (CHC)/Mobile Health Unit Clinic Manager, the Driver will be responsible for driving the Mobile Health Unit, general maintenance knowledge, patient education about clinic services. Driver is to maintain safety and cleanliness inside and outside the Mobile Health Unit along with other staff. Position is not limited to driving; includes collaboration with other members of the Mobile Health Unit team.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
Experience:
- Prefer at least one (1) year of relevant related experience, preferably in a Mobile Health Unit setting.
Certification/licensure:
- A valid AZ state commercial driver’s license.
- A BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center is required at time of hire.
- Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety OR submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for fingerprint clearance card.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent driving record.
- Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
- Bilingual is preferred (English & Spanish).
- Must have ability to work with culturally diverse people.
- Requires excellent communication, time management and leadership skills.
Salary Range: Hourly rate: $15.60 - $23.01
Location: Valleywise Health System · FQHC Clinic - Mobile Health Unit
Schedule: Regular FT 40 Hours Per Week, Days
