Ritz Instrument Transformers Inc., an industry leader in instrument transformers, cast-coil power transformers, and solid-insulated bus systems, has an opening for a Driver/Warehouse Worker in our Warehouse Department on 1st Shift 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in Waynesboro, GA, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

**MUST have D.O.T. card certification, physical, clean Motor Vehicle Records check and background check**

Position responsibilities include:

SUMMARY

Receive and put away inventory. Distribute parts and materials to the line in a timely and efficient manner. Pull orders, load and off-load truck before end of shift. Assist in making deliveries to and from offsite facility and designated vendor locations when required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading and off-loading company box truck for next day requirements.
• Drive company box truck to and from offsite location when needed.
• Monthly pickup at designated vendor locations when needed.
• Distribute parts and material to line.
• Assist in physical receiving of inventory.
• Assist in cycle counts.
• Process material request forms in ICIM.
• Operate forklift daily.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance to inventory controls specialist and other material handlers.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Require D.O.T. card certification and background check.
• Require D.O.T. physical.
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of the metric system, computer, and ICIM program.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 70 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses and steel toe shoes. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Long hair touching shoulders should be pinned up securely so as not to touch shoulders.
